The pharmaceutical environment is changing. Companies may want to constantly rethink their corporate positioning and revisit the corporate strategy once in a while. Circles of 3, 5 or 7 years have become an industry benchmark for such excercise.
The following chapters will describe the stradoo approach for a well proven strategic repositioning project for manufacturers in the international pharmaceuticals and medical devices arena. The approach focusses on six main aspects which are understood as “success levers”:
Each success lever will be addressed and analyzed seperately but not isolated. It is crucial to consider the interconnection of each lever on which all others are dependent on in the interaction of the overall corporate system. The outcome of the success lever analysis is a formulation of different scenarios based on the variation and modification of each lever. Finally, the evaluation of each derived scenario leads to the optimal new strategy.
