Michael Lonsert holds a Ph.D. in Health Science. He is a healthcare industry executive with 30 years of experience in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and healthcare services (B2B logistics, outsourcing, homecare). Over the years he has worked as a director for companies of different size: Strathmann AG in Germany, Merck & Co., Inc. (EME&A Marketing Director, Managing Director), Hospira Inc. (Vice-President Europe) and Celesio AG (Member of the Executive Board). Michael’s main business expertise is corporate strategy and turn-around management. As a consultant he has supported a variety of Private Equity firms on the assessment and acquisition of target companies and carve-out opportunities. Michael serves on the Board of Private Equity backed healthcare companies and, thus, very well understands the different perspectives of investors and management alike. Michael is also a member of the Board of the Centre for Rare Diseases at the Medical University Tübingen, Germany.
